The Firecrackers Academy is designed for players who are too young for U8 but have shown a desire for additional soccer drills and practices outside of what the local recreational leagues offer. Players will progress through a series of drills and skills-based games to enhance their soccer abilities. Player-focused fun is always at the forefront of the academy! Players will be divided by age. No teams are formed but rather a rotation of players on age-appropriate fields each session.
WHO: Players in Kindergarten or First Grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Those in 2nd grade who aren't playing U8 MCU may also register.
DATES: Thursdays in FALL
TIME: 5:30-6:30pm
LOCATION: Peoples Sports Complex, 608 E Kent Street, Wausau, Fields 1-2.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Shin Guards are Mandatory. Size 3 Ball. Water Bottle.
