The Firecrackers Academy is designed for players who are too young for U8 but have shown a desire for additional soccer drills and practices outside of what the local recreational leagues offer. Players will progress through a series of drills and skills-based games to enhance their soccer abilities. Player-focused fun is always at the forefront of the academy! Players will be divided by age. No teams are formed but rather a rotation of players on age-appropriate fields each week. Firecrackers will end each week with 4v4 game play.
WHO: Players with birthdates from January 1, 2018-July 31, 2020 may register
DATES: Thursdays, May 7-June 11 (6 weeks)
TIME: 5:45-6:45pm
LOCATION: Peoples Sports Complex, 608 E Kent Street, Wausau, Fields 1-4.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Shin Guards are Mandatory. Size 3 Ball. Water Bottle.
