competitive Classic Teams

MC United Classic Soccer Year Spans from August 1 to July 31 and is divided into Fall and Spring Seasons. No try-outs are required for these teams. The classic teams focus on development of age appropriate soccer skills and tactical team play under the direction of our licensed coaches.

Registration will be open May 1-May 31 for the 2026-2027 soccer year. Designed for young athletes seeking competitive play and skill development, this year-round program runs from August 1 to July 31, offering an exciting mix of league games (Spring), and 3 tournaments in both the fall and spring season. With separate Fall and Spring seasons, players have the opportunity to grow their abilities, build teamwork, and compete at a high level in Central Wisconsin and beyond.

Whether you're returning to the field or joining us for the first time, MCU has a spot on our Classic Rosters. Our soccer environment fosters skills, teamwork, independence and a love for the game for players and families alike.

FALL SEASON (Mid-August-Late October): Tournament-Based Play.

Included in Fees: 2 Away Tournaments (Racine Lighthouse October 3-4 and Copia Cup in Neenah October 9-11) and the HOME Fall Cup September 11-12.
Teams practice 2-3 times per week at Peoples Sports Complex (Dates and Times Based on Field and Coach Availability)

OPTIONAL ADD-ON: WINTER INDOOR TRAINING

NEW 26-27 winter is optional group training sessions led by certified coaches. 9 sessions will run November-December-January on either Monday or Thursday evenings on the turf at Greenheck Turner Community Center.

SPRING SEASON (February-June): League + Tournament-Based Play.

Included in Fees: 2 Away Tournaments (2027 TBD) and the HOME Mountain Bay Cup the first weekend of May.
League Games: Boys Classic Plays in the Central Wisconsin Soccer League (CWSL) and Girls Classic Plays in the East Central Soccer District (ECSD). 8-10 league games on weeknights throughout Northeast Wisconsin are played from late April-end of June.
Teams practice 1 time per week indoors February-March-part of April on the turf at Greenheck Turner Community Center. Once outdoors, 2-3 times per week at Peoples Sports Complex (Dates and Times Based on Field and Coach Availability)

Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Classic Teams

Registrations fees cover field/facility fees, League Fees, Insurance/WYSA fee, Referee Fees, Tournament Fees and Administrative Expenses.

Age Groups

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

Family contribution in the form of volunteering is essential to our club's success.

Families are required to volunteer one shift per player, per season at the home tournament or a special event (golf outing, etc). For example, a family with a U12 and U14 player would be required to volunteer for two shifts at the tournament EACH season (fall + spring).

Non-compliance Fee: $75 per unfulfilled shift penalty will be assessed to the account.

UNIFORM KIT DETAILS

Uniform Kits are designed to last two years, with the current kit being used from Fall 2026 through Spring 2028. All players are required to wear this uniform kit for the upcoming season. Previous kits are not permitted. To avoid the need for reordering, please consider the two-year duration when selecting sizes. The mandatory kit price is $130.

Deadline: June 15. It is critical to place your order during this time to ensure your player has their uniform ready for the first tournament.
