MC UNITED SELECT TEAMS

MC United Select Teams are a tier above our Classic Teams and try-out based teams. They do not play in the CWSL. They do play multiple tournaments each season. These teams are highly competitive and are rostered teams for Fall-Spring. Each year players must try-out again.

What Can You Expect?

Select Teams compete multiple weekend tournaments during both Fall and Spring seasons. Some tournaments may be out of State.

Participating on Select Teams requires a larger time commitment from players and families than Classic Teams. Teams hold 2-3 practices a week with weekend tournaments. Some teams may choose to participate in the East Central Soccer League based in the Fox Valley for league games.

MC United Select Team Tryouts

MC United’s Select Teams are designed to bring together players of similar age and ability levels and provide them with the appropriate level of challenge in training and competition. The formation of our Select Teams begins with annual tryouts in May/June. Through the tryout process, evaluators and our Director of Coaching evaluate individual and team skills of players as well coachability of players. Teams will then be formed at each age group. Players not making a Select or State Team WILL have the option to sign-up for Classic.

MC UNITED STATE LEAGUE TEAMS

The State League Teams are our most competitive teams. Travel is throughout Wisconsin and nearly every weekend during season. These try-out based teams are Fall-Spring. Players must try-out every year for these teams.

What Can You Expect?

State League Teams compete against other State League teams throughout Wisconsin and participate in multiple weekend tournaments during both Fall and Spring seasons. Some tournaments may be out of State.

Participating on State League Teams requires a large time commitment from players and families. Teams will hold 2-3 practices a week with most league games being played on weekends throughout Wisconsin.

MC United State League Team Tryouts

MC United’s state league teams are designed to bring together players of similar age and ability levels and provide them with the appropriate level of challenge in training and competition. The formation of our state league teams begins with annual tryouts in June. Through the tryouts process, evaluators and our Director of Coaching determine if the ability level at a given age group warrants the formation of a state league team. Scheduled tryouts, therefore, do not in themselves guarantee the formation of these teams.

Offers will be extended no earlier than these dates for our State and Select Teams. Those not receiving an offer will have the opportunity to sign up for our Classic Teams. We will open up Classic Registration for these individuals.

Registrations fees cover field/facility fees, League Fees, Insurance/WYSA fee, Referee Fees, Tournament Fees and Administrative Expenses.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

Family contribution in the form of volunteering is essential to our club's success.

Families are required to volunteer one shift per player, per season at the home tournament or a special event (golf outing, etc). For example, a family with a U12 and U14 player would be required to volunteer for two shifts at the tournament EACH season (fall + spring).

Non-compliance Fee: $75 per unfulfilled shift penalty will be assessed to the account.

UNIFORM KIT DETAILS

Uniform Kits are designed to last two years, with the current kit being used from Fall 2026 through Spring 2028. All players are required to wear this uniform kit for the upcoming season. Previous kits are not permitted. To avoid the need for reordering, please consider the two-year duration when selecting sizes. The mandatory uniform package is $130.

Uniform Ordering Details

Ordering Window: June 15-30 for Select/State Players and those who did not make a State/Select Team but will play Classic.

Deadline: June 30. It is critical to place your order during this time to ensure your player has their uniform ready for the first tournament.
