Spring 2020 Registration

If You Missed the Registration Deadline

Players who missed the registration deadline can be placed on a waiting list by contacting Dave Draeger (Girls team formation) or Mark Schommer (Boys team formation).  Dave and Mark will do their best to find a spot, however, please be aware that being placed on the waiting list does NOT guarantee player placement on a team.

Registration Tips

1. Have your photo(s) ready - have your player's photo ready before you start the registration process. We are unable to complete registration and get your team's player cards without a photo for every player on the team. You may update your child's photo from a prior season if you wish. We recommend photos be updated every three years.

2. Register on a PC/laptop rather than by smartphone due to website scaling issues.

3. Returning Parents: please use your existing Demopshere/Teamnet login credentials to register.  Please do not set up a new account for each child, each season, as this creates duplicate records and additional, unnecessary administrative tasks for our registrar.

  • $270

U11 - U14

  • $295

  • $321
  • Please note the following as regards high school players: MC United welcomes all players. However, we recommend that players joining MC United for the first time as a high school player (freshman U15s through U18) have some prior experience playing in another competitive soccer club; WAYSA, Everest Youth Soccer, or another indoor or outdoor recreational soccer program; or have participated for a season in their school district’s middle or high school soccer program. Parents of high school players interested in joining MC United that have not had any prior soccer experience should contact Lance Kelly, MC United’s Director of Coaching, prior to registration. This will help ensure that parents and players that are brand new to soccer have information about general skill, agility, and fitness expectations prior to committing to participation.

MCU Firecrackers

  • $70 (includes t-shirt)
  • Registration for MCU’s Spring Firecrackers’ session will be open later this fall.

WYSA Player Transfer Policy:

Per Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) policy, a player is considered committed to a club for the soccer seasonal year (8/1 - 7/31) when a written acceptance occurs and a parent/guardian completes the player registration form and submits it to a club representative. If at any time during the registration seasonal year, a competitive player desires to transfer to another club's team (interclub transfer), a parent/guardian must submit WYSA’s competitive player transfer form.  In practical terms, this means that any player who registers for MC United for the spring/fall 2019-20 season who then wants to change to another club at any time before July 31, 2020, including before the spring 2020 season, will be considered a transfer and is subject to WYSA competitive player transfer policies. This also applies to those who choose the “Fall” registration option. More information about WYSA’s policy can be found here:

If your situation meets these criteria, please contact Mark Schommer (MCU Boys’ Team Formation) or Dave Draeger (MCU Girls’ Team Formation).

Payment Plan Dates

Spring: 1/3 at online registration, 1/3 on February 1, and 1/3 on March 1.

Additional Information

The Spring 2020 season will be open to U8 players.

NEW: Uniform Credit Available for MCU Scholarship Recipients

NEW: Effective for the Spring 2020 season, MC United will offer a $25 uniform credit to all new registration scholarship recipients. This credit will reduce the uniform fee for all scholarship recipients by $25. To receive the uniform credit:

Complete your player’s online registration and upload the free/reduced school lunch form into your player’s online Demosphere account by Sunday, January 19.

Email Amanda Jacobson, MC United’s uniform coordinator, by Sunday, January 19 to let her know that your player is registered and that you wish to receive the uniform credit.

These steps must be completed and forms must be uploaded by the deadline in order to be eligible to receive the uniform credit. Once your information is confirmed, Amanda will then follow-up with you when the uniform ordering window opens with a credit code that you can apply to your uniform order.

The discount is applicable to new players joining MC United in Spring 2020. We are unable to offer refunds or credits for uniforms purchased in prior seasons.

The discount is available one time per player per uniform cycle. The current uniform cycle runs through Spring 2021

MCU Volunteer Hours

MC United is successful because all members help support the Club. Each MCU family is required to volunteer two hours per season. When families register their player(s), they will be asked to select a volunteer option.

The MCU volunteer commitment per season is two hours per player, per family up to 4 hours total.

  • 1 player/family = 2 hours/season
  • 2 players/family = 4 hours/season
  • 3+ players/family = 4 hours/season

Anyone in the family can contribute to the two hours. Age restrictions are as follows:

  • Concession stand volunteers must be age 14+
  • Field marshals must be age 16+

Volunteer opportunities will be available via SignUp Genius and are tracked. Most families volunteer at the MCU tournaments. If you are an MCU coach, team manager, board member or committee member, your time in this capacity serves as your required family volunteer time.
